We are creative and experienced designers, technicians, makers and builders. We take on projects with the purpose to resolve the design with creative vision and meticulous detail and to produce a unique result.
A little about Rosanne...
Interior Design workroom was started by Rosanne de Castro in 2017. Rosanne is an Interior Designer and collector with almost 20 years’ experience. Rosanne's first 5 years of experience was gained in London, working on Sainsbury's retail supermarkets, EAT. coffee shops, Early Learning Centre stores, T-mobile stores and the design of restaurants and bars. Rosanne also worked on high end residential interiors. While living in London she managed to travel extensively too. Upon her return to South Africa Rosanne was greatly involved in the design of some of South Africa's most extraordinary residential interiors and luxury hotels whilst working for Stephen Falcke. Her career grew into large commercial projects at GLH Architects, having designed and managed the interior construction of large scale, new build office interiors such the R70m and 45 000sqm Interior of Statistics South Africa as well great involvement in exclusive residential developments such as Embassy Towers which won SAPOA best residential building 2019 .
Throughout Rosanne's career, her passion for collecting second hand furniture, antiques and the world's eccentricities grew along with her love of art, resulting in a unique and individual approach to interior design, this along with Rosanne’s passion, skill, expertise and attention to detail is what sets Interior Design Workroom apart.
